Alexis is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who has worked exclusively with adolescents, young adults, and families for the past 16 years.
Issues like life transitions, developmental stressors, emotional and social overwhelm, the bind between needing autonomy and containment, personal power, integrity, and the struggle to remember one’s purpose and place in the world are all integral in her work.
Alexis is thrilled to be a part of gradiant, especially to use her knowledge about adolescents and families to support parents in building their curiosity, broadening their understanding of themselves, and connecting more deeply and meaningfully with their teenage children.
Alexis utilizes a combination of gestalt therapy, somatic psychotherapy, and EMDR to help her teens and families build skills, strengthen resources, and to connect to their personal guidance within. Alexis served as former regional director and clinical supervisor of a crisis-based family program and currently has a private practice in Berkeley, California.
